Dubrovnik and Kotor overnight tour
If you are thinking of a Split to Dubrovnik tour or visiting the beautiful bay of Kotor why not combine them on this two-day tour from Split, Croatia?
We begin our tour from Split with the scenic journey to Kotor bay in Montenegro. For a little country, our Montenegro tour is not short of show stopping scenery and the bay of Kotor is the jewel in Montenegro’s crown.
Wedged between mountains in the bay of Kotor, this medieval town started to fortify itself in the 9th century and is now completely encircled by walls, looping 260m above.
By day the wall blends into the mountainous landscape, but at night, when the walls are lit up, it makes for a truly awesome experience. We also visit Our Lady of the Rock, one of the two islets off the coast of Perast in the Bay of Kotor. You will spend the night in a hand-picked small, inexpensive, but very atmospheric local hotel in the bay of Kotor.
The following morning, our Split tour sets off from the bay of Kotor for Dubrovnik, where we hand you over to our Dubrovnik tour partner – a local Dubrovnik expert tour guide will show you around the “Pearl of the Adriatic” on our Dubrovnik tour.
You will see the Franciscan monastery in Dubrovnik and its beautiful cloister, the oldest pharmacy in Europe, the Sponza palace, Dubrovnik with its elaborate stone carvings and the cathedral.
After your tour of Dubrovnik, you’ll be given lots of time to enjoy the City at your leisure, perhaps just for a relaxed lunch or to walk the Dubrovnik City walls and take the cable car for a spectacular view of the city.
Your tour leaves Dubrovnik after lunch and expects to be back in Split from Dubrovnik by early evening on Day 2 of the tour.
You will be accompanied by our guide on your trip from Split who will be at your disposal throughout.
